The surroundings of Kaitaa metro station will be diversified

Local detailed plansEspoonlahti

The area is planned to include urban development and local services on the ground floors of residential buildings. The development of the area will support the establishment of the Kaitaa metro centre area, Iivisniemi and Hannusranta as a local centre with a wide range of services. The aim is also to develop the area’s urban space and bicycle and pedestrian traffic network as part of a wider urban fabric. Alongside the centre-like development, the aim is for the overall appearance of the area to be green and wooded. The participation and assessment scheme and preparation material are available for public review 14.4.-13.5.2025.
