Street planning of Komeetanrinne detailed plan area
Streets and trafficMatinkyläThe City of Espoo Public Works Department has started preparing a street plan for the Kuitinmäentie section of the Komeetanrinne detailed plan area in Olari. The plans are related to land use changes in the area. At the Komeetanrinne detailed plan area, the planning work includes the transfer of pedestrian and bicycle paths and municipal engineering located in the block area to the Kuitinmäentie street area. The measures will enable the construction of a city block.

The draft street plan can be commented on between 12 and 26 June 2025 in the otakantaa.fi service(external link, opens in a new window). Comments and questions on the draft can be submitted on the website.
After the draft phase, the street plan proposal to be finalised will be made available for public review in 8.-22.9.2025. The parties concerned will be notified by letter of the public review.
The schedule for constructing the street is not known.
