Southern section of Merivirta

Espoo’s Public Works Department has started preparing a street plan for the southern section of Merivirta (south of Seitsenmerenraitti), a street in Kivenlahti. The plan is related to land use changes in the area and aims to improve traffic safety, especially at the intersection of Merivirta and Kivenlahdenkatu.

The draft street plan is available for comments on the Otakantaa.fi website(external link, opens in a new window) from 24 February to 10 March 2026. On the website, you can post your comments and ask questions about the plan.

After the draft phase, the proposal for the final street plan will be made available for public review during spring 2026. The parties concerned will receive a notice of the public review in the mail.

The construction schedule for the street is not yet known.
