The aim of the local detailed plan is to zone the Sammalvuori area mainly for recreational use. Additionally, the option of building more housing units around the western edges of the area will be reviewed. The built area will not be extended to the unbroken woodland, which will retain its current size. The planning area is located along Länsiväylä in Saunalahti. The participation and assessment scheme and preparation material are available for public review 4.3–3.4.2024.
