Renovation plan for Hösmärinniitty playground

Espoo’s Public Works Department has started preparing a general renovation plan for the Hösmärinniitty playground. The aim is to examine whether the playground could be developed into an accessible playground.

Before preparing the general plan, we will open an online survey to collect users’ experiences and comments regarding the Hösmärinniitty playground, its accessibility and how users get there. We hope that respondents take the survey with or on behalf of their children to make children’s voices heard.

The general planning process started in November 2025.

The construction schedule is not yet known.
