The planning process begins with a survey to collect residents' opinions and wishes for the development of Suopurontie. The survey is open from 24.6. till 16.8.2026. You can access the survey from this link!(external link, opens in a new window) The survey asks for comments on dangerous spots on the street and suggestions for their improvement.
After the general plan, a street plan will be drafted. The draft street plan will be published to residents for commenting on at the otakantaa.fi service. The street plan will try to take into account the feedback received in the survey. Finally, the street plan will be finalized taking into account the feedback received and later approved.
After the street plan, a construction plan for the street will be made.
The goal of the construction plans is to be completed during 2027. The construction of the street would take place during 2027–29.
