Planning to improve streets and water services in Kellonummi
Streets and trafficEspoon keskusThe City of Espoo has started planning improvements to the streets and water services in Kellonummi. The aim of the project is to surface Kellonummenkuja and Kellokuja and to renovate these streets, Kellorinne, and Kellonummentie from the Kellorinne intersection onward. At the same time, the need to improve stormwater management in the area will be examined. Regarding water services, the plan includes connecting the area’s wastewater system to HSY’s network and replacing the water supply systems. The route for conveying wastewater from Kellonummi to HSY’s network will be determined during the planning process.

A resident walk will be organised in the area on Wednesday 21 October 2026, from 16:00 to 18:00. The walk starts at the turning area at the end of Kellonummenkuja. During the walk, residents will learn about the draft plans for the area and share their opinions on them. All local residents are warmly welcome to attend.
If you are unable to attend the resident walk, or if you would otherwise like to provide additional information concerning the project, please contact the project planner (jannika.brofelt@espoo.fi). You can, for example, send a free-form map drawing, a photo or a written description.
The draft plans will be made available for public review and commenting in the otakantaa.fi-service.
After the draft plan stage, the street plan proposal will be finalised and made available for public review at the beginning of 2027. The public review period will be announced on the city’s website, in the Have Your Say Now newsletter, and by letter to interested parties. Once the street plans have been completed, construction planning will begin. Construction is estimated to start in late 2027 or early 2028.
