Phased amendment to a detailed plan
A phased amendment to a detailed plan means that only individual regulations or markings are changed in the existing detailed plan. The previous detailed plan remains in force in other respects.
Background information
The aim of the plan amendment is to promote cycling along the Ring Road I corridor. The amendment is part of a more extensive cycling corridor network aimed at improving the flow of and conditions for cycling.
Quality cycling corridors comprise the most important sections of the main cycling routes. They are the main arteries for cyclists that serve long-distance and high-speed cycling. Their alignments often follow rail, motorway and green corridors.
For scheduling reasons, a progressive amendment to detailed plan for the cycling corridor is being prepared for a plot owned by the parish. The plan amendment allocates a space reservation for a cycling quality corridor section extending from Majurinpolku to Vanha Bergansintie. The other preferences expressed by the parish regarding development projects and other relevant matters will be examined in the future in an amendment to detailed plan concerning the entire plot
