ParksMatinkyläEspoonlahti

Espoo’s Public Works Department, in cooperation with the Sports and Exercise Unit, is planning a new mountain biking trail in Espoo Central Park. The planned trail runs from east to west in the southern part of the park, between Olari and Harmaaniitty.

The aim is to build a mountain biking trail that serves riders of different skill levels. The trail runs from the eastern end of Central Park to the western end, and the total length of the narrow trail is almost 10 km. The park’s natural values will be taken into consideration during planning, and the trail will be landscaped in a way that is suitable for the park environment. The planners will also take into account other people using the forest trail to ensure everyone’s safety.

You can comment on the park plan at otakantaa.fi until 19 April 2026.

The park plan proposal will then be finalised and submitted to summer 2026 for approval. The mountain biking trail is scheduled to be built in 2027.
