Master plan of Leppävaara walkway

Making of a more specified master plan for Leppävaara walkway is based on a need’s assessment.

Making of a detailed master plan for Leppävaara walkway began at summer 2020.

A needs assessment regarding Leppävaara walkway was a basis for making a detailed master plan which started in summer 2020. Design sketches are finished and could be commented on till 28.10.2020. An attachment plan statement was done from the design sketches which shows designing principles for different areas.

A public event for showing sketches could not be organised because of ongoing Covid restrictions.

We received a lot of comments on the master plan. Plans have now been updated. The master plan was presented to us by project manager Heli Enberg from the public works department.

Key contents and other effects on development such as sewer- and water network’s needs were discussed during the event. There was a possibility to ask questions after the presenting event.
