ParksEspoonlahtiThe Espoo Public Works Department has designed a stormwater retention basin and an expansion of the existing ditch for the park. The new retention basin will improve the capacity of the stormwater network during flood situations. Replacement trees will be planted wherever possible to replace the trees designated for removal in the plan.Construction of the retention basin and ditch is scheduled to begin in early 2027.
