Läntinen Jokitie, general plan for water services and construction plan
Streets and trafficEspoon keskusThe City of Espoo is planning improvements to the water supply and lighting infrastructure in the Läntinen Jokitie area. The aim of the project is to connect the area to the HSY water supply network, thereby enhancing service quality and operational reliability. At the same time, street lighting will be upgraded, and electricity and telecommunications cables will be relocated underground. These measures will improve safety, the living environment, and the long-term reliability of the utility networks.

Design
A residents' walk of the area is scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 16:30 to 18:00. The meeting point is the western end of Läntinen Jokitie. During the walk, participants will review the draft plans and share their views on them. Planned property connections will also be examined. We welcome all local residents to join us.
If you are unable to attend the residents' walk or wish to provide additional information—for example, regarding property connections—please send the details to the project planner (jannika.brofelt@espoo.fi). You may submit this information in the form of a rough map sketch, a photograph, or a written description.
The goal is to complete the planning phase in the spring of 2027 and begin construction in the summer of 2027.
