Based on the work on the district plan, residential blocks and local services on the western side of the Kyläseppä residential area, workplace/sports and exercise activities along Turunväylä and recreational areas supplementing the Keskuspuisto park will be added to the local detailed plan. The plan proposal will be available for public review in spring 2026.

Background information

Previous plans focused on the area as part of the detailed plans for Suurpelto IV and Suurpelto V. The City Planning Committee approved the plan proposals on 17 January 2012, but the City Board returned them to the planning process on 25 March 2019 for feasibility improvements.
