Kuninkaistenportti and Kreivinkuja

Streets and trafficLeppävaara

The City of Espoo’s Public Works Department has begun a street planning process for Kuninkaistenportti and Kreivinkuja streets. The planning will include improvements to stormwater management and traffic safety in the area.

A pavement will be planned for the east side of Kuninkaistenportti street to improve traffic safety. Water supply infrastructure in the street area will also be renovated at the same time. The planned improvements for Kreivinkuja include asphalt, kerbstones and a stormwater sewer.

A residents’ event on the project will be held in the area on Thursday 2 October 2025 starting at 16:00. The meeting place for the event is the sand field at Kuninkaistenportti.

You can view and comment on the draft plans through the Otakantaa website between 2 october and 17 October 2025 at www.otakantaa.fi(external link, opens in a new window).

The final street plan proposal will be made available for public review near the end of 2025. The parties concerned will be informed of the street plan proposal’s public display by letter.
