Streets and trafficKauklahtiThe City of Espoo Public Works Department is preparing a street plan for the Kuninkaankartanontie section between Ring III and Vaasanrinne.

The planning has been carried out alongside the work with the ELY Centre’s ‘Noise barriers at Espoonkartano Ring III (Main Road 50) and Lapinkyläntie (Road 1130)’ plan. The Kuninkaankartanontie levelling will be modified south of Ring III to provide a sufficient underpass height under the bridge over Kuninkaankartanontie. The street’s elevation will decrease slightly. The street will also have a pedestrian and bicycle route between Vaasanrinne–Ring III. The plan integrates August Ramsay’s park walkway with the Kuninkaankartanontie design.
Interaction with residents concerning the street plan was completed with the ‘Noise barriers at Espoonkartano Ring III (Main Road 50) and Lapinkyläntie (Road 1130)’ plan.
The street plan proposal will be displayed from 5–19 June 2023. The parties concerned will be notified by letter of the presentation in public.
The work is to be implemented within the ELY Centre’s Ring III project.
