Kulttuuriaukio, Kaupinkalliontie and Uimahallinpolku

Kaupinkalliontie is an access street that serves traffic to and from the adjacent blocks and Kulttuuriaukio. Uimahallinpolku is a pedestrian and bicycle path, where maintenance vehicles are allowed. The main cycling route runs along the western side of Kaupinkalliontie and via Uimahallinpolku. There are pavements for pedestrians on both streets. There is also a pavement on the eastern side of Kaupinkalliontie, running along the edge of Kulttuuriaukio. Kulttuuriaukio is being developed into a pleasant pedestrian and recreational area, suitable for holding various cultural events. The plan is to build the square in connection with the building of the theatre extension at the Espoo Cultural Centre.
