Kirkkoväärtinpuisto park plan

ParksEspoon keskus

The City of Espoo has started preparing a park plan for Kirkkoväärtinpuisto.

The plan includes a new park path, Kirkkoväärtinpolku, connecting Espoontie and Kirkkoväärtintie. The path will run close to the boundary of the adjacent Omnia vocational school. The aim is to design the path so that no trees need to be felled. Prästgårdsbäcken, a tributary of the Espoonjoki River, flows through the park, and no construction is planned nearby. A flying squirrel route also runs parallel to the stream.

The park path is planned to be 3.5 metres wide and illuminated.

The draft park plan is available for comments on the Otakantaa.fi website(external link, opens in a new window) from 4 to 18 November 2025.
