The area is located in Kiltakallio, within the Kiltapuisto park area. The local detailed plan ensures that the building remains a part of the urban structure that is becoming more dense, and makes it possible to assign a clear intended use for the historical building. The local detailed plan also clarifies the traffic arrangements on Kiltaraitti. The plan has entered into force 28.4.2021.
