Kalajärvenranta, park area
ParksKalajärviEspoo Public Works has initiated the planning of the Kalajärvenranta park area. The park planning efforts are related to the construction of three streets: Kalajärvenkallio, Järvenkallionkuja and Kalajärvenranta.

Design
The stormwater from the new streets and the properties along them will be led through a drainage system into a stormwater container to be built in the park, where the water will sit for a while and be purified. A maintenance path, which will also serve as a park walkway, will be constructed for the stormwater containers and pits. The park walkways will not feature lighting, and no winter maintenance has been proposed for them due to their steep angle.
A draft of the park plan was on display for commenting over the summer holiday season until 8 August 2021.
The park construction will take place simultaneously with the street construction, which is estimated to being in the autumn of 2021.
