ParksMatinkyläEspoo’s Public Works Department has drawn up a plan for planting park trees in the Iirislahdenranta area. The aim is to improve connections between flying squirrel habitats over time.

The plan is available for public review on the Otakantaa.fi website from 4 September 2026. You can comment on the plan until 18 September 2026. (https://www.otakantaa.fi/fi/hankkeet/1282/(external link, opens in a new window)).
After the public review period, we will respond collectively to the feedback and questions received. The plan will then be updated and approved. The approved plan will be published on the city’s website at espoo.fi under the heading “Iirislahdenranta”.
