Housing construction in Nygrannas
Local detailed plansTapiolaA cosy residential area close to nature – with low blocks of flats, and detached and semi-detached houses typical of garden cities – is being planned for the area. The area is located opposite Suurpelto, east of Kehä II in Nygrannas. The local detailed plan will ensure that the area retains its important natural and recreational elements. City Planning Committee has approved the plan proposal to City Board 4.6.2025.

Background information
The plan was divided into sections after the preparation material had been made available for public review in spring 2021. These new plan areas are Nygrannas 241700, Möilimäki 241800 and Lukukallio 241900.

At the proposal stage, the designers prepare a plan proposal in which they fit together the initial information and goals specified during the plan process, the feedback received, the decisions made and the relevant reports. During the period the proposal is available for public review, interested parties can submit complaints concerning it. The plan proposal was available for public review from 4 April to 3 May 2022, when an information and discussion event was held.
