The city and landowners are planning to build new residential buildings in Viherlaakso’s Logen area. On 31 January 2024, the City Planning Committee decided the starting points and the objectives for further planning. Current plans are for dense and low-rise buildings, taking the green environment and impacts on traffic into account. The participation and assessment scheme and preparation material are available for public review 25.8 - 26.9.2025.

The area is being planned as part of a larger whole formed by Viherlaakso. The planning will ensure that the construction quality and volume match the rest of the development in Viherlaakso.
