The existing access streets of the residential area will be rebuilt. New trails will be built in the parks, preserving the natural feel of the park areas. The streets will be renovated and the arrangements for pedestrian and bicycle traffic will be improved. The roadways of the streets will be equipped with kerbstones and stormwater will be conveyed to stormwater drains through street inlets. New water supply infrastructure and technical networks will be built in the streets. Greenery will be planted in the street areas and street lighting will be replaced. The current wastewater pumping station at the northern end of Hannusranta will be modernised.
The current Hannusranta street will be widened, adding pavements, parking and plants along the street. An open area, Raitsu, will be built in the middle of the street, which will also serve as a turning point. Hannusrannankuja will be a new street connection of the block areas to Hannusranta street and a route and service road connection to Hannusjärvenranta park. Hannusmetsä will be improved at its current location as a connection to pedestrian and cycling streets, while permitting car access to properties.
The plan area has two parks: Hannusjärvenranta and Bondaksensuo. The parks have mainly been left in the natural state. In addition to their recreational uses, they serve as an ecological connection and connection route for the flying squirrel and as a feeding area for bats. Pools for stormwater management have been placed in the parks. Trails are planned to run next to stormwater pools, which will also serve as maintenance routes for the stormwater pools.
A walkway resembling duckboards and a viewing platform will be built on the shore of Lake Hannusjärvi.
The Bondaksensuo area is part of the larger Hannusmetsä–Bondaksenkallio recreational forest area. The area includes a wetland area important for the water balance of Lake Hannusjärvi.
