Hagalundinkallio development area

Land use reviews are visions or plans for a specific area. They steer the town planning of the area. In the development area, the potential for tunnelling and covering Ring I between Tapiola and Otaniemi will be studied. For the area freed up after this, a new and denser entity for housing and services will be planned. This will function as the connecting part between the urban structures in Tapiola and Otaniemi. The planning phase will consist of a land use review, which will survey the opportunities, limits and principles of land use. The review will take the future development of Ring I into consideration so that the town planning that sets the boundaries for the area can be continued. The town planning has not yet been scheduled.
