Streets and trafficEspoonlahti

Espoo’s Public Works Department has started planning the final section of the Finnoonniitty street. Due to a plan amendment and the future bus depot, the turning area will be moved to a new location, approximately 40 metres south-east. A new park path will also be planned to replace the route that will be blocked by the bus depot. The Technical Services Committee approved the plans on 23 April 2025.

Finnoonniitty is located in Nöykkiö, in the Yli-Suomenoja II-Finnoonniitty detailed plan area. Flying squirrel routes, possible parking spaces, use of the carpet washing site and maintenance vehicle access will be taken into account as part of the street planning process. A lighting plan will also be made for the street and park path.

You can comment on the plan on the otakantaa.fi website until 2 February 2025. Click on this link to go to the otakantaa.fi website.(external link, opens in a new window)

The street and park plans will be available for public review from 17 March to 31 March 2025.

The construction schedule will be specified later.
