Local detailed plansLeppävaaraThe aim of the local detailed plan is to facilitate the expansion of Sello shopping centre on top of the Leppävaaranaukio square’s bus terminal. This extension will contain e.g. commercial and service facilities. The space underneath will also serve as the terminal’s waiting area, sheltered from the elements. Additionally, space will be allocated next to the track for a car park. City Planning Committee has approved the plan proposal to City Board 28.9.2022.

Background information
The Leppävaaranaukio plan amendment was separated from the Leppävaara centre’s 110617 plan amendment as its own plan amendment after the proposal phase. The Leppävaara centre’s plan amendment has been presented in the participation and assessment plan, as well as online, under the name Leppävaaran keskus pohjoinen I Ydinkeskus, area 110617.
