Espoo offers a planning reservation for a commercial plot in Kilo

A detailed plan amendment process is under way for the unbuilt plot. The city is looking for a partner to participate in the planning of the Nuijalantie detailed plan amendment and to carry out a new project on the plot after the detailed plan has come into force.

The aim of the plan amendment is to enable business, sports and facility services, and possibly also a large retail unit, to be located on the plot. In the current detailed plan, the plot is designated as a block area for commercial buildings intended for commercial activities that require a great deal of space.

The current area of the plot located at Nuijalantie 15 is approximately 30,500 square metres. The area will be reduced as part of the plan amendment.

The two-phase application process is open to all. Individual operators or consortiums of several operators may apply. The city values applications that present plans for developing diverse, job-creating business activities on the plot. The Business and Competitiveness Subcommittee of the City Board will decide on the granting of the planning reservation.
