Ninth grader - apply for a summer job as a My Tech AI Ambassador!
Technology Industries of Finland will employ 30 young people in grade 9 in Espoo as AI ambassadors in the summer of 2025. The application period is open from 27 January to 9 February.
This scheme is carried out in cooperation between Espoo Employment Services and Technology Industries of Finland. The aim is to offer young people in Espoo summer jobs and working life skills. Similar cooperation was also pursued in the spring of 2024, at which time the target group was secondary level students. Through cooperation, we want to help young people take their first steps in working life.
Learning new things and practical work
Ninth graders who are interested in artificial intelligence and prepared to guide others in its use can apply to be AI ambassadors.
MyTech AI Ambassadors familiarise themselves with the use and development of artificial intelligence in technology companies and learn how artificial intelligence changes studies and working life. After an orientation period, the young people will move to workplaces and guide employees of the municipality of Espoo in AI use.
Technology Industries of Finland is responsible for the application process, interviews and selection and recruitment of applicants. Espoo will take charge of marketing, help to organise the recruitment process and support recruitment with summer vouchers.
