Technology Industries of Finland is hiring 30 ninth graders from Espoo as AI Ambassadors in summer 2025. Through this cooperation, Espoo Employment Services wants to support young people to get a foot in the door of their careers. Apply during 27 January–9 February!Hey, ninth grader! This is a two-week job on 2–13 June 2025. The salary is EUR 500 + holiday pay. The job is located in Helsinki. You will work in Finnish.
We will select 30 ninth graders from Espoo, 30 from Kirkkonummi, and 20 from other municipalities.
Applications open on Monday, 27 January 2025 and end on Sunday, 9 February 2025. All applicants will be invited to a job interview.

What is a MyTech AI Ambassador?
This is a cooperation between Espoo Employment Services and Technology Industries of Finland: Its aim is to offer summer jobs and career skills to young people in Espoo.
Technology Industries of Finland will handle the application process, interviews and the selection and hiring of applicants. Espoo handles the marketing, helps to organise the recruitment process and supports it with summer job vouchers.
Who can apply to be a MyTech AI Ambassador?
You can apply to be a MyTech AI Ambassador if you are a ninth grader from Espoo who has an interest in AI.
How many MyTech AI Ambassadors will you hire?
Technology Industries of Finland will hire 80 young people who are about to graduate comprehensive school. 30 positions are allocated to ninth graders from Espoo, 30 to Kirkkonummi, and 20 to other municipalities.
For how long?
This is a two-week job on 2–13 June 2025 (Mon-Fri).
How much will I get paid?
You will be paid €500 + holiday pay.
If I am selected to be a MyTech AI Ambassador, I need to apply for a summer job voucher. What does that mean?
Summer job vouchers are financial support from the City of Espoo for employers who hire a young adult from Espoo for summer work. This is a subsidy of €300. Even though the subsidy is paid to the employer, you are the one that must apply for it. Check out the instructions.
What does a MyTech AI Ambassador do?
The job of a MyTech Artificial Ambassador involves getting to know the use and development of artificial intelligence. You get to visit tech companies and see how artificial intelligence is changing studying and work. You get to guide others to use artificial intelligence. Your clients are employees of the City of Espoo. You get to develop your skills and learn to use artificial intelligence in your everyday life and studies.
Why should I apply to be a MyTech AI Ambassador?
You will learn enough about how to use artificial intelligence that you can teach others. You get good work experience and money. You get to network with technology companies.
How do I apply to be a MyTech AI Ambassador?

When are the job interviews held?
The interviews will be held at the Espoo City Council Building on three weekday evenings in February 2025. You will be invited to your interview after the application period has ended. Technology Industries of Finland will invite all applicants to a job interview.
Can I get help with my job application?
Yes! Join our workshop on Thursday, 30 January at 16:00–18:00 (Espoon Ohjaamotalo, Lintuvaarantie 2, Leppävaara). We can give you tips for applying for a summer job and how to use artificial intelligence in your job search. You do not need to register for the workshop. You just need to show up!
