Espoo is selling an old school building in Nuuksio through open bidding
The City of Espoo is selling an old school building in Nuuksio through an open bidding competition. The building will be sold to a company, community or other entity for use allowed by the master plan. This includes private school, early childhood education, health and social welfare activities. The historically valuable building will be sold to the highest bidder.
The building was completed in 1951 and used as a school until the summer of 2022. The gross floor area of the building is 760 square metres. The building includes the actual school facilities and a teachers’ housing wing. The building requires renovation.
The building is sold with a leasehold right. The area of the plot to be leased is approximately 10,000 square metres. The property is located in a master plan area that is designated as an area for public services and administration.
The old school building is located in a beautiful area surrounded by nature. The Hista station, which is being planned as part of the West Railway project, will be about two kilometres from the property.
The City of Espoo seeks to sell properties that it no longer needs.
All bidders must participate in a showing before making a bid. Showings will be held during office hours between 18 and 29 November and must be booked in advance. Bids must be submitted by 12:00 on 30 December 2024.
