A Journey through the history of the Pisa region 29 October 2024
Come and listen to KAMU Espoo City Museum architect Lasse Majuri's fascinating story about the history of Pisa on Tue 29 October 2024 at 10 am and 2 pm at Pisa Residents' Park (Vanha Pisantie 16, Espoo). The event is in Finnish.
How is Pisa connected to Kauklahti or to walking from Soukka to Espoo Church?
What do old maps tell us about the history of Pisa? How do old maps look like?
How did the farm stay in the city? What is the difference between a manor, a house and a croft?
What about a country farm, a daughter farm, a forest farm?
Come along to listen, discuss and walk the trail together!
The event will take you to the old Pisa Manor, which is a residential park for the City of Espoo.
The event is suitable for anyone interested in history. Please note that there is no barrier-free access to the house.
The event is free of charge.
