We are looking for actions promoting youth equality in Espoo
Has your community done something to promote equality and non-discrimination among young people? Take part in the TASSU competition and tell us about an action you have taken to promote young people’s wellbeing, address discrimination or harassment, or foster a sense of inclusion in Espoo.
The purpose of the annual TASSU prize is to highlight concrete actions that promote equality and non-discrimination in Espoo. Both Espoo residents and city employees can take part in the competition.
“The TASSU competition highlights actions taken in Espoo to promote equality and non-discrimination. We hope that the participants’ good experiences inspire others to take action. Promoting equality and non-discrimination is part of the city’s comprehensive work for sustainability,” says Diversity and Inclusion Manager Kaarina Salonen.
The competition has two categories. In addition to the city’s work communities, users of Espoo’s services can nominate actions taken by the city’s outsourced services or other third-sector operators based in Espoo, such as sports clubs or other organisations, to promote equality and non-discrimination among young people. The winner will receive EUR 1,000 for the promotion of equality and non-discrimination.
