Lifeguard season at Espoo’s beaches starts on 6 June

There are eight beaches supervised by lifeguards in Espoo. The official lifeguard season lasts from 6 June to 11 August. Depending on the weather, the season may be extended. Lifeguards will also be on duty in Midsummer.
Supervised beaches and lifeguard hours in summer 2024:
- Kivenlahti beach, 8:00–20:00
- Klobben beach (Soukka), 8:00–20:00
- Hanikka beach (Suinonsalmi), 10:00–18:00
- Matinkylä beach, 8:00–20:00
- Haukilahti beach, 8:00–20:00
- Westend beach, 10:00–18:00
- Oittaa beach, 8:00–20:00
- Laaksolahti beach, 10:00–18:00
