Residents’ events of the month – March 2023

You are warmly welcome to ask questions and talk about the Riihitontunkulma plan. Pop by and meet the district’s urban planners, who will answer your questions and clarify the location of the new residential block in the planning area.

You can find us in the Niittykummun koulu school’s gym lobby on 2 March from 17.00 to 19.00. The exact address is Vuoritontuntie 18, entrance through door B.

We warmly welcome you to explore the updated Högnäs plan proposal! The event for residents and other interested parties will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams on 8 March at 17.00–19.00.

At the event, we will tell you about the planning situation and present the changes made to the plan and the latest reports. Participants will have the opportunity to share their views and ask questions about the plan proposal.

What kind of future do we want in Espoo? You are warmly welcome to learn about and discuss the results of the Our Espoo 20X0 event series in Entresse Library on 16 March!

The results will be examined in panel discussions. The topics are based on themes the residents considered important in the Our Espoo 20X0 discussions. Besides the panel discussions, we have reserved time for questions and comments from the public. The event also includes a plentiful entertainment programme, including a children’s drawing workshop, performances by the Muuttolinnut choir, interaction, and some entertainment for young people.

Come and see the current plans for the Greater Espoonlahti area and meet your district’s urban planners in Lippulaiva Library on 21 March at 17.00–19.30!

During the event, you can freely visit the various meeting points and get more detailed information about the current plans for Finnoo, Kaitaa, Soukka, Espoonlahti and Kivenlahti. There will also be short briefings about the area’s development and discussions about nature and recreation. There is also a lot of fun things to do at the event, such as a story workshop, a drawing workshop for children and a place-name quiz for all friends of local heritage.
