Meeting place at the Family Centre

The meeting place is an open, low-threshold service for all kinds of families, children and young people. At the meeting place, you can find peer support and someone to talk to and play with. Various organisations, the parish and city employees are available at the meeting place.

You can visit the meeting place and have a cup of coffee or stay for a little while longer and take part in guided activities and get to know the other parents in your area. The meeting place offers themed play sessions and activities that you can participate in with children and other families.

The meeting place at the Espoon keskus Family Centre at is located on the 1st floor in the lobby area of the Family Centre. The Family Centre lobby includes an information desk, a customer waiting area and a children's play area. A new playful work by sculptor Jasmin Anoschkin, ‘Satunnaislajikkeiden synty’ (The Birth of the Random Species),(external link, opens in a new window) occupies the tall space in the lobby and inspires visitors’ imaginations.

The meeting place is also home to a family café and father and child sessions (isä- ja lapsituokio) organised by the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare (MLL), Neighbourhood Mothers activities by Nice Hearts and a meeting café arranged by the parish. See the weekly programme on the Family Centre website.

We are looking forward to your visit!
