Circular and sharing economy are changing our consumption habits
Circular economy is based on the idea of using resources efficiently. Natural resources are used sparingly, products and materials are kept in the cycle for as long as possible, and the amount of waste and leftovers generated during production and consumption is minimised. In sharing economy, consumption is not based on ownership but sharing. Its core idea is that things, facilities and services can be utilised more efficiently by shifting from owning them to having a right to use them – to renting, borrowing and sharing.
