Events for guardians concerning special support in pre-primary and basic education

The Sector of Growth and Education in city of Espoo is organizing five events in collaboration with service design agency Pentagon Design where guardians will have the opportunity to have their views heard. The events are part of development work that explores how general, intensified and special support could be provided even better and more efficiently to students.

In the events we would like to hear guardians' views and experiences concerning the general, intensified, and special support their child has received in basic education. The events are continuing the cooperation with the service design agency which started in November last year.

Guardians may choose from the following events to suit their schedule:

  • Tuesday 17.5. at 16.30-18.30 Tapiola Library, Ryhmätila Honka
  • Thursday 19.5. at 16.30-18.30 Lippulaiva Library, Kokoustila Kajuutta
  • Friday 20.5. at 16.30-18.30 Iso Omena Library, Kokoustila Meri
  • Wednesday 25.5. at 16.30-18.30 Sello Library, Kokoustila Elina
  • Friday 27.5. at 16.30-18.30 Entresse Library, Sininen huone

All participant responses will be treated anonymously and confidentially. If preferred, it is also possible to give personal written feedback and suggestions on how to develop the support system.

Please register via this link(external link). An invitation to the event has also been sent through Wilma or eVaka to all guardians whose children go to municipal schools or daycare in Espoo. In the registration form you can also inform if there is a need for interpretation. Small snack is reserved for those who have registered, but it is also possible to participate in the events without registration.
