Renovation work has started in the Tapiola Health Centre building and will continue until the end of 2021. The purpose of the project is, in line with the Espoo Story, to develop and enhance the use of the facilities and to improve their functionality, technical systems and safety. Renovation work will be done in the basement and on floors 1–3.

Impact of the renovation on health centre services

The Tapiola Health Centre will remain open during the renovation. Work will be carried out in stages so that only some areas will be under renovation at a time. Work has already started in the basement and, as of 21 June, the construction team will also be working on the second floor. During the autumn, work will also be done on the first and third floors.

Due to the renovation, some parking spaces will be reserved for the construction team in both the parking garage and the outdoor parking lot.

As the work progresses, different areas will be temporarily closed and routes to different services may change.
