Health and social services in summer 2022
Some of Espoo’s health and social services will be closed for a period of time or have reduced opening hours during the summer.
The Pihatörmä service location (rehabilitation planning, doctors, speech therapy and neuropsychological rehabilitation) is closed from 4 to 31 July.
The geriatric outpatient clinic is closed from 4 to 31 July. Incoming referrals will be read during the break but appointments will not be held.
Closed from 19 June to 20 August. The helpline will be open on Mondays from 15:00 to 18:00 as of 18 July.

The mental health and substance abuse clinic at the Iso Omena Service Centre is open Mon–Fri 8:00–16:00 from 20 June to 21 August. You can visit the clinic without an appointment Mon–Fri 8:00–12:00 and pre-booked appointments Mon–Fri 12:00–16:00
The Kilonpuisto and Saunalahti maternity and child health clinics are closed from 20 June to 14 August. While the clinics are closed, you can visit other maternity and child health clinics.
Other maternity and child health clinics are open as usual, mainly from Monday to Thursday 8:00–16:00 and on Fridays 8:00–14:00.
The centralised student health services location at Virastopiha 2 C in Espoon keskus will be closed down on 7 July. The telephone and chat services will be open 7–8 July. The centralised location will be closed during the summer from 11 July until 31 July.
The new location at Kamreerintie 2 A (3rd floor) will open its doors on 1 August.

- Leppävaara, Säterinkatu 3, tel. +358 40 6369859: Open throughout the summer. For the time being, the restaurant is only open to the residents of the building.
Allergen immunotherapy is not available at the Tapiola Health Centre between 23 June and 10 July 2022.

- The Ruusulinna dental clinic is closed from 23 June to 15 August.
- The Kalajärvi dental clinic is closed from 4 to 31 July.
- The Matinkatu dental clinic is closed from 27 June to 7 August.
- The Kivenlahti dental clinic is closed from 11 to 17 July.
- The Espoonlahti dental clinic is closed as of 1 July 2022.
Our other dental clinics are open as usual by appointment throughout the summer.
The Disability Services helpline, tel. +358 9 81645285, is open Mon–Fri 9:00–11:00 from 27 June to 7 August.
The Kauklahti, Tapiola, Leppävaara and Soukka day activity groups are on a break from 4 to 31 July.
Day activities are not available at the Taavi and Viherlaakso memory service centres between 27 June and 14 August.
