Finnoo's Meritie Opening Ceremony

Come and celebrate the opening of Meritie on 1 October, starting at 17:00! The programme includes a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony and short speeches. At the same time, you will get to see the new Meritie street and bridge, as well as the new Meritienaukio square and entrance to the Finnoo metro station. You can also meet your neighbours and other residents in the area.

Representatives from the City of Espoo’s Urban Environment Customer Service and Espoo Info, as well as Finnoo’s project director, project manager and area architect, will be available to meet visitors.

Other participants include local hobby clubs, Länsimetro, Fortum’s Suomenoja power plant, and Iivisniemi-Kaitaa-seura, which will be serving pancakes. Maintenance machinery will also be on display.
