Running school Jalavapuisto

A six-session free running school will be held at the sand field of Jalavapuisto School starting on May 20th. The practice is divided into two groups. From 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, students in grades 1-3, and from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, students in grades 4-6. For the practice, you only need to bring outdoor sports clothes and a water bottle.

The themes of the practices include sprinting and running technique, hurdling, basic endurance training, more intense endurance training, relays, and testing your own skills. The practices also include games and other fun activities that help develop speed and endurance. No prior experience in running training is needed.
