Performances, magic and fun games in Haukilahti marina

At 11.00, see the Finnish Capoeira Association’s amazing Capoeira Show and the Espoo Circus and Theatre School ESKO’s circus performance on the lawn of Haukilahti marina. After the performances, you can challenge players from the Finnish national wheelchair basketball team to a playful turbo javelin throw competition arranged in the spirit of Finnish Athletics Championships (Kalevan kisat). The influencer and content producer Jäätynyt banaani (@jaatynytbanaaniofficial) will be present, encouraging the participants and hosting the competition. The place where you can challenge national team players is on the lawn of Haukilahti marina until 11:30. After the event, you can find them at the wheelchair basketball station of Tapiolan Honka.

Professional magician Kristian Backman will also visit the area. The magician will circulate the area, doing close-up magic tricks and making balloon figures for children from 11:00 to 12:00.

A dance at the pier, and meetups with national ice hockey league players from Kiekko-Espoo and influencer and content producer Jäätynyt Banaani in Matinkylä

On the Matinkylä beach, you can challenge ice hockey league players Petteri Rimpinen and Tuomas Suoniemi from Kiekko-Espoo to a playful game of Cornhole! Cornhole is an entertaining outdoor game that has come to Espoo from the United States. In the game, players throw beanbags into holes in a wooden board. Can you score more points than top athletes? You can challenge league players on the Matinkylä beach from 12:00 to 12:30.

The influencer and content producer Jäätynyt banaani (@jaatynytbanaaniofficial) will also be there to encourage the participants and host the competition. She will have a Meet & Greet from 13.00 to 13.30.

In Matinkylä, you can also dance your heart out on the Cafe Merenneito terrace! The dance at the pier will begin at 12 noon with an instructed dance warm-up. After this, feel free to dance on the terrace to the rhythms of humppa and waltz. You don’t need a pair to join the dance, so you can come and work on your dance moves alone or with your friends! Please note that the instructed part of the dancing event can only accommodate a limited number of participants.

The sports instructors of the City of Espoo will act as instructions at the dance at the pier. The music will be played by the band Rytmikonkarit.
