Emma School 2026
Young people from Espoo who are interested in music industry can once again join the Emma School, now in its seventh year. The programme, which will take place between January and April 2026, will introduce participants to the music industry under the guidance of many music business professionals.
Emma School 2026 is organised for young people who are interested in music, in cooperation with Emma Gala and the City of Espoo and Helsinki. The applicants should be from Espoo or Helsinki and aged between 16 and 29.
At Emma School, inspiring music professionals will provide information about the industry in general, music production and working practices of record labels and event organisers. During the Boot Camp week in February participants will have the chance to make their own music and produce their own Emma School Gala. In the workshops, participants will get to know the biggest players in the Finnish music industry (Teosto, Gramex, Universal, Emma Gala, Ticketmaster, Nelonen Media Live etc.).
The application for the Emma School is open from 1 to 16 November 2025, after which all eligible applicants will be interviewed. Selections will be announced before Christmas. Approximately 60 young people from Espoo and Helsinki will be eligible. Participation does not require any experience in the music industry, but strong interest, enthusiasm and motivation are the main criteria. You can find the application form here (in finnish):
