Have you become a Finnish citizen in 2023–2024?

We at the City of Espoo want to celebrate your Finnish citizenship with you. This is why we are giving you three vouchers that you can use as free entrance tickets. The vouchers give you free access to a concert and a museum. You can also swim for free at a swimming hall or outdoor pool.

You will get the vouchers in the post in July. You can use the vouchers immediately. Remember that vouchers must be exchanged for tickets by 27 November 2025.

With the first voucher, you can go to one of the following concerts at the Espoo Cultural Centre:

How to use vouchers

Exchange the voucher for a concert ticket at the service desk in the lobby of the Cultural Centre. You can also bring another person with you to the concert. This person can also go to the concert for free.

Please note that only you can exchange your voucher for a concert ticket. The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.

It is a good idea to exchange the voucher for a concert ticket as soon as you know the concert you want to see. Some concerts are so popular that not everyone will be able to attend.

With the second voucher, you can swim for free at Espoo swimming halls or the Leppävaara outdoor swimming pool. Bring your voucher with you when you go swimming. Exchange the voucher for a wristband at the swimming hall cash desk. You can also bring another person with you to swim with you. The wristband gives a total of 10 free swims. The wristband will be valid for one year. The year starts when you exchange the voucher for the wristband.

The third voucher is an entrance ticket to the WeeGee museums’ exhibitions. Exchange the voucher for an entrance ticket at the WeeGee Exhibition Centre ticket desk. You can also bring another person with you to the museums. Children can go to WeeGee museums for free.

The library is open to everyone, including you!

Espoo has 16 libraries. You can borrow books, magazines, music, films and other materials from libraries. At a library, you can also read, enjoy hobbies, meet friends and attend events. Library services and events are free of charge.
