Venturo Studio
A new architectural and design element has been brought to Tapionpuisto in the centre of Tapiola. The Venturo (CF-45) is an iconic house designed by architect Matti Suuronen (1933–2013) in 1971. It is known for its utopian and experimental design. Through its modern architecture and optimistic ideology, the building adds a new fascinating layer to Tapiola’s garden city atmosphere.
Venturo Studio – a meeting place for art and culture
Architect Matti Suuronen designed the experimental plastic house CF-45, aka Venturo, in 1971. Located in Tapiola, the iconic house is part of the Casa Finlandia series, which plays with a utopian ideology. The series also includes the Futuro House (1968) at the Exhibition Centre WeeGee and the kiosk CF-10 (1970) in Otaniemi.
The Venturo Studio is an urban culture project launched by City Events Espoo, and it showcases art and culture in a central location in the heart of Tapiola. The exhibitions and events are open to all.

The world doesn’t become better on its own—it’s made better. Aalto University’s biggest annual exhibition, Designs for a Cooler Planet, showcases dozens of bold solutions, ideas and prototypes addressing the major challenges of our time. The exhibition features work by students and researchers offering new perspectives on construction, health and the circular economy, among others.
