Sustainable and Nature-friendly Espoo development programme
Through the development programme, the entire city organisation and its partners work towards the environmental sustainability goals defined in the Espoo Story. We develop, experiment with and introduce sustainable urban solutions for the future together with our partners and residents. Through our active development work, we reduce the harmful environmental impacts of the city and the entire Espoo community, reduce the over-consumption of natural resources, support biodiversity and strengthen Espoo residents’ relationship with nature.
