Employment and Integration Subcommittee
The Employment and Integration Subcommittee acts as the joint decision-making body for the employment area of Espoo and Kauniainen, established under the act on the provision of employment services. The subcommittee submits proposals to the City Board regarding employment policy principles and matters within its field of activity to be included in the Espoo Story. When addressing integration-related issues, only the members appointed by the City of Espoo are present, and they submit proposals to the City Board regarding the principles for promoting the integration of immigrants.

Interested parties always receive an extract from meeting minutes or a notification of a decision after a meeting. Appeal instructions are provided together with the extract.
Natural and legal persons resident in a municipality are considered to have been notified of a decision seven days after the meeting minutes become publicly available on the city’s website. A request for administrative review must be submitted within 14 days and an appeal against the decision of a municipal authority within 30 days of being informed of the decision.
