School and early childhood education premises for rent
Premises available for rent for resident and recreational activities.
All residents’ parks in Espoo and some day care centre and school premises can be rented for resident and recreational activities when they are not being used by the city.
Day care centres are primarily rented out for children’s recreational activities and collaborative activities organised by early childhood education units. Residents’ parks are also rented out for private events.
School classrooms, auditoriums, dining halls and entrance halls are mainly rented out for recurring recreational activities and collaborative events organised by schools. Supervised school premises can also be rented for one-off meetings and other events. However, schools do not offer catering or other conference services.
The newest school premises and learning centres can also be rented for more extensive conference and business activities in accordance with a separate price list.

Self-supervised evening use of school classrooms will continue as usual in spite of the possible strike. New self-supervised time slots will not be granted.
The situation concerning schools with evening supervision will not be confirmed until the possible strike starts, so please be prepared for your time slots being cancelled at short notice.

General principles for the use of premises by Espoo residents
The key objective of making premises available to Espoo residents is to promote residents’ recreational activities and social participation.
The terms of use of supervised premises describe the user’s responsibilities and include concrete instructions for the use of supervised school premises. When applying for a supervised time slot through the resource booking system, the user of the premises agrees to follow the terms of use.
The terms of use of self-supervised premises are included in the self-supervision commitment, and they define the user’s additional responsibilities, for example in terms of cleaning and supervision. The document also contains concrete instructions for the self-supervised use of school premises. By signing the document, the user agrees to follow the terms of self-supervised use of school premises.
