If you do not have the knowledge, skills or resources to cope with your daily life, social services for adults is there to support you. We want to help you overcome the difficult situation.

The adult social work’s team for young people offers housing counselling by appointment at Ohjaamotalo. You can contact housing counselling if you need help applying for a new apartment or first home. You can also get advice and support in housing-related matters, such as Kela benefits or rent arrear, eviction and other issues. We also advise on matters required to obtain a dwelling, such as the conclusion of a lease agreement, security deposit, moving in and the tenant’s responsibilities and obligations.

Adult social work also runs the My Life group at Ohjaamotalo. The My Life group is aimed at young Espoo residents aged 18–29. The group can provide you with knowledge, skills and new ideas for your life. The group gathers on Tuesdays from 13:00–15:00. You can join the group via Starttipiste, for example.

At Starttipiste, you can meet with a social instructor and family social work in accordance with the weekly programme.
