Etis Pre-DP Forest Trip 2023

Almost 60 Pre-DP students joined eight tutors and three teachers in Pirttimäki, a beautiful expanse of forest and playing fields in Northen Espoo, for our annual forest trip at the start of the new school year. The idea is for tutors to plan the programme of games and sporting activities, with the stress on having a bit of fun and getting to know one another. There was  a treasure hunt, speed dating, ball games and quizzes. We hiked through the woods to a lake for a swim, munched on crisps and packed lunches and enjoyed the sunshine and warmth of the day. The event culminated in a football match between 23F and 23G. Mark, from 23G powered a shot into the back on the net and scored the only goal before the whistle blew and we rushed to catch the bus back home. Thanks, guys, for a great day out. Gratitude is especially due to the tutors whose hard work pulled the whole thing together.
